“Let me just begin this by saying, Sherri is the MAGIC! When my husband and I decided to elope I had a few vendors that I just HAD to have for our day and Sherri was at the top of the list.
There are a lot of things that go into choosing a wedding photographer--- of course many of those have to do with aesthetic, cost..etc. But what should also be on the list is point of view, personality, & ability to innovate and pivot when conditions call for it. And let me say, Sherri does all that and goes above & beyond. She is a true artist and professional. She is able to seamlessly balance the creative aspects of photography with the necessary organization on a wedding day. Our day lacked a lot of structure when I first started to work with Sherri and she was there to assist in helping me create shots lists, timelines, and allowed me to be able to carve out little moments of the day that I wanted to have captured. She is not only capable in that regard but she is also the sweetest and most pleasant photographer to work with. At weddings there are always family members who aren't thrilled to have their photo taken or children who don't have the patience to stand still for too long and Sherri is able to make everyone feel comfortable and is able to cycle through the shot list efficiently so the day can progress. She helped me stay on track with photos I wanted to capture as well as checked-in with me throughout the day just to see how I was doing--SO sweet and helpful! After the wedding she sent me sneak peeks of our photos incredibly fast and delivered our entire gallery lightning fast as well. She is the entire package and I am so thrilled that we chose her to capture our day. Not just because of the photos but because of her entire professional demeanor she made our day that much more special. Thank you, Sherri!”

She delivered the dreamiest photos that not only blew our minds away but everyone who we also shared the gallery with also thought the same! Every time someone asked who our photographer was, I always proudly shared that it was with the most wonderful Sherri LaRocque. It means so much knowing that she captured not only all of the important highlights from the day but also felt like a supportive friend throughout the whole process of wedding planning up until the day of! Even after too! :) She checked in often to see how I was doing, and never failed to be our biggest hype girl when taking our photos! This was big for me because it can be uncomfortable shooting with someone you don’t really know sometimes but she always made us feel like we could be ourselves with no judgments!
